Managing registration & check-in
Named registration with auto seating, plus the anonymous quick-tap count.
On the Floor page's Registration view, type a player's name and tap "+ Register" — they're automatically seated at the first open seat (filling tables in order before a new one opens), or the tournament's overflow policy kicks in if none exist.
If every open table is full, ASK_EACH_TIME (the default) shows a card right on the Floor page: "No open seats. [Name] just registered" with Open New Table / Add to Waitlist. A waitlisted player shows "Waitlisted" instead of a seat in Registration, and as "Waitlisted" (not a table/seat) on the public Places page.
Once a seat frees up (an elimination, a removed registration), and the waitlist isn't empty, a suggestion appears: "Seat [next player] at Table X, Seat Y?" — confirm to seat them, or dismiss (the entry stays WAITING, ready for the next opening).
The older anonymous "+ Check In" button (on the main Floor page) is a separate, simpler quick-tap for a running headcount — no name, no seat — for events that don't need named seating.
